	The qualifications and experience of its prinicipals places HPB in an excellent position to identify opportunities to save energy and costs while conserving and/or improving the comfort and healthfulness of homes and offices. HPB President, Edward Aul, is a registered Professional Engineer in North Carolina with over 30 years of experience in energy and environmental consulting. His current qualifications include: Certified Home Energy Rater by the Residential Energy Services Network Certified Energy Manager by the Association of Energy Engineers Certified Indoor Air Quality Professional by the Association of Energy Engineers Certified Mold Inspector by the Indoor Environmental Standards Organization Certified Mold Remediator by the Indoor Air Quality Association Accredited Professional for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design by the U.S. Green Building Council Mr. Aul’s education includes BS and MS degrees in chemical engineering and an MBA. Mr. Aul personally supervises all projects performed by HPB. For health-related issues, Mr. Aul consults with HPB Vice President and board-certified physician, Margaret Deutsch, M.D. Dr. Deutsch specializes in hematologic and oncologic illnesses.
